Last Post!

I started this blog as a way to keep our friends and family updated with our ivf process! Luckily, God blessed us with a perfect little girl! Then this blog turned into a scrapbook of sorts, keeping track of Olivia's first two years! I have printed this blog out into a book for Olivia to look at when she is older! Soooo this is my last post! I may open a new blog when future babies bless our family, but for the meantime I am taking a break from blogging!

24 Months

So one last status update on my sweet baby!

Olivia is talking so much these days! She can say so many new things each week, I am amazed! She is saying two, three, four word sentences all the time.

Olivia is a fish! She loves the lake and the pool. She will jump off the dock and the diving board! By jump, I mean she will let us drop her in the water! She loves it, goes under and everything! She is blowing bubbles and going under! She is going to be swimming like a fish next summer!

I love that right now when she asks you a question she ends it with hmmm... So she might say, "Mommy want some tea, hmmm," or "Mommy come upstairs, hmmm." The voice she uses is so stinkin cute!

She is still sleeping in her crib, thank the lord! We just took the paci away about three weeks ago! I hated to take it away, because I loved that thing too! She has done really well, with the adjustment. She talks to herself for about 45 minutes every night before she goes to bed. Hence, why I am thrilled that she is still in the crib. Otherwise, she would be running all over the place!

I have to say that Olivia loves the people in her life. Our family, my friends and their babies, her teachers, classmates, animals... she loves them so much. Talks about them and wants to look at their pictures. I hope that she always values the people in her life. They make life worth living!

Luv you mommy and Luv you daddy still top the list! That and when she puckers up to give us big kisses or hugs us and says AHHH, big hug!

Love her...

Happy Day!

Olivia had a great Happy Day, which is what she calls her birthday! I think she got a present everyday for two weeks! She now thinks that the UPS truck delivers presents, which in a way I guess it does!

The following pictures are of Olivia opening family presents and seeing her new playroom, which is outfitted with a new kitchen, dollhouse, art easel, etc... I have no idea what to get this child for Christmas!

It was a wonderful day celebrating Olivia's 2nd birthday! She is such a precious gift, we are very blessed to have her in our lives!

Our beautiful girl! We are very lucky that we got this one great picture! Most of the other pictures are blurry because our girl is always in motion!

I also forgot to take pictures of the food and decor, snapped these pictures after the party! Gosh, always forgetting something!

What a great picture of two beautiful ladies! I am glad someone got a cute picture with O, because her dad and I did not take one picture with her!

Uncle Anthony "NeNe" playing with Olivia!

Just ate the icing... who needs the cake!

On her actual birthday she blew out the candles by herself, but at her party she needed some help from Momma!

She is lovin the jump jump!

Kids love to bounce!

The rain cleared and the kids were able to jump jump!

Tea Time!

"Pops, you need some tea? Hmmm

The Dollhouse is bigger than me!

23 Months!!!

This weekend Olivia will turn 23 months! One more month and my baby will be two! It has been an amazing and funny month in our home! Olivia keeps us on our toes and laughing most of the time!

She has learned to count! The other day I asked her to sit down for the millionth time, in the bath tub. I never do the age old parent counting to three... but on this day I said 1... and she looked at me and said... 2... 3... It was hard not to laugh! Where did she learn that... hilarious!

A few days later, I heard her in her crib counting. She skips one and seven, but can count to eight! We think she is sooo smart!

Let's see... hmmm.... is by far my favorite thing she says.

She knows all of her colors, which again I think is brilliant.

She loves to read, if the books have pictures of food she says, taste? The wants to lick the book. Cracks me up!

I have to say that she has the sweetest little personality. She is constantly surprising us and making us laugh.
